At Gilpin & Keefe, we place the best interests of clients first and foremost. We are proud of

comfortable and assured that their legal needs are being understood and addressed by an experienced attorney.
Gilpin & Keefe, P.C. was formed in December of 2000, combining the focused talent and experience
of Donald G. Gilpin and M.J. Keefe. Our firm has brought together two former solo practitioners, one working mainly in areas
of employment law, the other in areas of insurance law. Combined, our firm's two partners are able to handle numerous legal
issues on behalf of our clients.
Acting together on most trial matters, Mr. Gilpin and Mr. Keefe blend their
abilities to present the best case for our clients, every time. All cases are reviewed and prepared to go to trial, an approach
that gets effective results for their clients. Attorneys Don Gilpin and M.J. Keefe have substantial experience in jury and
non-jury trials and in alternative dispute resolution procedures, including arbitrations and mediations. While most cases
are settled prior to trial, we emphasize trial preparation, letting the opponents know that the employee or insured will be
aggressively represented. We strive to find reasonable solutions to problems to maximize favorable outcomes for our clients,
but we do successfully try cases when it is in our clients' best interests.
At Gilpin & Keefe, our practice has a successful history of winning a majority of cases on appeal,
making sure appellate courts review any decision of law the partners feel is not based on present law or issues of law that
need to be overturned. Mr. Gilpin and Mr. Keefe believe that as trial lawyers, they must be prepared to challenge the law
to protect our clients.
